Our model

Focused work, with an institutional backbone.

A Chartered Program operates within The Dignity Imperative. It is not automatically a separate charity. Shared capacity is mission-protecting — not overhead as an afterthought.

A platform, not an umbrella.

TDI does not erase Program identity or replace field leadership. It centralizes the institutional functions that benefit from scale, professional discipline, and fiduciary accountability — while keeping mission-specific relationships and delivery close to the people who know the work. This is active institutional stewardship, not passive fiscal sponsorship.

What remains distinct

Focused mission and field credibility

  • A distinct name, mission, story, public identity, and community of support
  • Mission-specific leadership, field expertise, advisors, partners, and relationships
  • Service model, participant experience, donor case, goals, and measurable outcomes
  • Responsibility for excellent daily delivery and credible field practice

What is shared

Institutional strength and stewardship

  • The legal and tax-exempt home, fiduciary control, Board oversight, and Program charters
  • Budgeting, fund accounting, controls, reporting, payroll coordination, and annual filings
  • HR, contracts, insurance, safeguarding, compliance, data, and professional counsel
  • Technology, communications, fundraising systems, donor stewardship, and executive support

At the center: human care

Every Program is spiritually grounded, relationally driven, operationally excellent, and committed to long-term transformation.

Operating rhythm

Identify. Design. Launch. Support. Strengthen.

This is the public shape of the work. The eight-stage pathway below is how TDI actually decides — including the freedom to map, pause, refer, or decline.

  1. 01

    Identify

Listen closely to discover real gaps of care in the communities we know.

  2. 02

    Design

Prayerfully design solutions that are faithful, evidence-informed, and sized to be stewarded well.

  3. 03

    Launch

Pilot and launch with strong leadership, safeguards, and clear outcomes.

  4. 04

    Support

Provide capital, expertise, systems, and governance to strengthen and sustain the work.

  5. 05

    Strengthen

Build what works — and grow only in proportion to evidence, trust, and capacity.

The TDI program pathway

Discernment before invention. Stewardship beyond launch.

A new Chartered Program is one possible response, not the predetermined answer.

  1. 01

    Notice

Listen for recurring needs, overlooked burdens, and patterns of fragmentation.

  2. 02

    Discern

Test whether the need is genuine, consequential, insufficiently served, and appropriate for TDI.

  3. 03

    Map

Identify existing organizations, leaders, assets, barriers, evidence, and potential partners.

  4. 04

    Design

Clarify people served, value proposition, safeguards, operating model, budget, and measures.

  5. 05

    Charter

Name mission, governance, relationship, decision rights, financial home, and accountability.

  6. 06

    Launch

Stand up a friction-responsible structure, then delivery, visible services, and trust.

  7. 07

    Steward

Hold reporting, donors, operations, communications, formation, and personnel.

  8. 08

    Strengthen

Learn, adapt, and grow only in proportion to evidence, trust, demand, and capacity.

Shared platform

Mission-protecting capacity.

This platform creates the conditions in which program leaders can focus on people, relationships, delivery, learning, and field leadership. It is not bookkeeping dressed up as a mission.

Governance

Board oversight, chartered authority, charters, policy, risk review, and accountability.

Finance

Budgeting, designated-fund accounting, controls, reporting, payroll, and stewardship.

Legal & Compliance

Contracts, insurance, charitable and donor notices, data protection, and counsel.

People Operations

Work design, hiring support, HR practices, professional integrity, and leadership development.

Program Development

Needs assessment, model design, ethics, partnerships, safeguards, outcomes, and improvement.

Fundraising

Case development, campaigns, proposals, stewardship, reporting, and designated support.

Communications

Brand architecture, web and print assets, stories, editorial standards, and shared visibility.

Technology & Data

Shared systems, access management, reporting tools, and technology support across Programs.

Executive Support

Strategic judgment, incubation, crisis response, and cross-program coordination.

A Chartered Program of The Dignity Imperative operates within TDI. Exact shared-services percentages are not published here until policy and program-specific arrangements are final and approved.

Strengthen the platform

The impact pathway

From a person known, toward a culture that can endure.

  1. 01

    Individuals

Known, supported, and empowered to thrive.

  2. 02

    Families

Stronger relationships, healing, and stability across generations.

  3. 03

    Communities

Healthier, more just, and more resilient neighborhoods.

  4. 04

    Society

A culture where dignity, justice, and flourishing can advance.

  5. 05

    Faithful presence

Redemptive change and an enduring legacy — for the good of others and the glory of God.

Governance that can carry this path: Biblically grounded · Ethically robust · Transparent · Measurable · Accountable.

People walking together at sunset.

Support the work you care about with the confidence of shared governance and stewardship.

You do not have to choose between a focused program and strong institutional support. The TDI model is designed to hold both together.
